Description: This is a collection of two games set in the DreadOut universe—another Asian horror game about fighting ghosts with a camera. It's not exactly a new idea—in Fatal Frame/Project Zero, the entire gameplay revolved around it—but here, instead of an ancient magical camera, the main character, Linda, has a regular smartphone and a DSLR. The plot isn't particularly original either: a group of schoolchildren wanders into an abandoned city during a field trip and, as is typical, begins to encounter paranormal activity. As usual, the only survivor is the main character, who suddenly develops supernatural abilities. The second part of the collection, DreadOut: Keepers of the Dark, is essentially a standalone expansion, where Linda finds herself in the so-called World of Mirrors. The plot revolves around a Mysterious Lady in Red dragging our heroine into a world consisting of eight different realms, each haunted by a horde of ghosts. Here, the developers decided to go all out and cram a whopping 13+ different spirits into the game. However, they still run away from the camera flash, which slightly reduces the level of fear.
