Prepare to face a veritable tsunami of nightmares. Our proprietary SwarmTech technology allows for over 70,000 enemy units to be displayed simultaneously. These legions of enemies erupt from fissures seething with chaos energy to strengthen the Veil. Illuminate a complex, procedurally generated map, rich in detail, to reclaim territory from the Veilâ€”a living fog of death that cloaks enemies and drains the life from your troops. Defending against this nightmare is not for the faint of heart. As in roguelite games, there are Corruptionsâ€”random afflictions inflicted on the player during Mortal Nightsâ€”that can ruin even the most carefully laid plans. After surviving the Mortal Night, you'll be able to choose one of three random Blessings that will give your army a much-needed advantage in battle. Choose a unique, powerful hero to lead the charge against the forces of night. With special abilities unlocked as they level up, they can turn the tide of even the most desperate battles. But beware: among the Nightmares are elite wandering warriors who drop valuable resources when slain, but they themselves are extremely dangerous and constantly threaten your plans to reclaim territory.
