As a team of investigators, you venture into the back rooms to gather more information about the liminal labyrinth. However, after completing your investigative duties, an elevator malfunction sends you into the heart of the most dangerous levels, leaving you with the sole goal of escape and survival. Level 0 is currently the only playable level. As an introductory section, your team is faced with various investigation tasks. These may include recording objects and landmarks, collecting data about the back rooms, and collecting video tapes to obtain evidence. Built on Unreal Engine 5, Backrooms: Escape Together will be the first game to truly capture the essence of Backrooms. The levels will be procedurally generated, dynamically lit with stunning quality, and rich in detail. Levels will be continually added through Early Access as we transform the game into a true behind-the-scenes experience.
