Description:Batman: Arkham Origins is a sequel to the acclaimed Batman: Arkham series. Developed by WB Games Montréal, the game takes place in an expanded Gotham City and is set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: City, the first two games in the popular series. The game takes place before Gotham City is overrun by dangerous criminals: a young and inexperienced Batman is just beginning his crime-fighting career and faces events that will become decisive in the development of the Dark Knight. Game Features: The Batman: Arkham Origins story campaign tells an entirely new story written by screenwriters Michael "Dooma" Wendschuh and Corey May, whose previous credits include Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, Assassin's Creed, and Army of Two. DC Comics Creative Director Geoff Johns serves as a consultant. Witness Batman's early years as a crimefighter and encounter for the first time those who would become the Dark Knight's sworn enemies. The new Crime Scene system simplifies the process of gathering information. Using cutting-edge gadgets, Batman can recreate a virtual version of what happened at a crime scene and discover clues invisible to the naked eye. Gotham awaits. New and familiar locations await a variety of opponents to defeat, crimes to investigate, and mysteries to solve. Hunt criminals related to the main plot, but not integral to it. Whether to engage them or not is entirely up to you. New enemies await you on the streets of Gotham – armored thugs with incredible strength and extremely agile opponents who are not easy to keep track of. To emerge victorious in every battle, you will need to master the FreeFlow combat system. Batman's arsenal will be expanded with new gadgets, such as a remote-controlled Bat-Claw. Familiar devices from previous games in the series will also be retained. On the dark streets of Gotham, Batman will encounter a host of famous characters, including Black Mask, Deathstroke, Bane, the Joker, Anarchy, Captain Gordon, and others.
