INTRODUCTION Beyond Mankind: The Awakening is a single-player action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world. In addition to a gripping main storyline, the game features secondary quests connected to the main narrative.
STORY: The year is 2121. Nuclear winter is nearing its end on Earth. New species reign supreme over the icy expanses of cities left in ruins and desolation. With the emergence of unprecedented giant animals, rapidly evolving in the cold and radiation, life on the planet has become even more dangerous. The remnants of civilization face a difficult choice: engage in a brutal war for control of the planet, failure in which will put an end to humanity's existence, or meekly accept the fate of a species unable to survive in the new conditions. Some are convinced there is no choice and war is inevitable, but whether it will lead to triumph or total collapse is completely unclear. "Homo sapiens" finds himself at a crossroads, but whatever his decision, the outlook looks bleak. It is into this icy, merciless, and cruel world that you will awaken. Born from the Techno-Womb, programmed for success, with century-old memories implanted in your brain. You could have become one of the hundreds scouring the ruins in search of lost treasures or tirelessly preparing for a war that may never come. However, fate has a surprise in store for you that will turn everything upside down.
GAME OVERVIEW You will create a character whose mission is to help the human civilization exiled from Earth. You will become part of "HOPE," an elite military unit on the front lines of the war to reclaim the planet. Your journey begins among the ruins of the city of Avalon, once located on Santa Catalina Island. From here, you will embark on a captivating journey that will test your mettle and abilities to the limit. As you progress through the game, you'll encounter unexpected challenges that require surprising solutions. The game encourages deep social interaction and the development of personality-based feelings of kinship, camaraderie, and even romance with other characters.
