Description: Black Mesa (formerly known as Black Mesa: Source) is a remake of the cult 1998 computer game Half-Life using the Source engine. It is a modification for Half-Life 2. The developers intend to recreate the original Half-Life universe using the advanced capabilities of the Source engine, reworking all textures, models, and levels, and creating realistic gameplay. The game will not feature new weapons, but they have decided to add a sprint function to the HEV protective suit. The creators of the modification also stated that they intend to create a fully synchronized storyline, with only minor adjustments, without disturbing the game's balance. They also plan to introduce achievements.
