Description: Twenty years ago, supervillains triumphed. Since then, they've built a dystopian city where possessing superpowers is a crime in itself. No one has been able to stop them... until now. Capes is a turn-based superhero strategy game where you build a team of characters and liberate the city. While completing story and patrol missions, you can choose whether to focus on the story or leisurely explore side quests and unlock new heroes, earn skill points, complete challenges, and learn more about their lives. Recruit new heroes with unique powers and abilities. Each character feels different, and each requires a unique approach. By learning and utilizing each hero's unique style, you'll become more effective in combat and even be able to turn the tide of battle with special attacks. A stunning and truly heroic turn-based combat system will test your strategic skills. Teaming up and deploying within them is crucial: it's how you'll find a way to defeat every enemy and supervillain you face. Battles in Capes aren't just colorful numbers and hiding behind cover. Strength doesn't mean invulnerability...not at all. Only your choices matter. They will determine your victory or defeat. You can deploy up to four heroes in each mission. Each hero receives a unique team ability from each of their teammates, and together they leverage their powers to gain an advantage in battle. Level up your heroes to gain new abilities and powerful buffs. Unlock their powers using skill points earned by completing objectives and challenges. Complete challenge chains for each hero during missions to earn additional skill points and unlock optional quests that will allow you to learn more about the characters and unlock their potential.
