Description : Clunky Hero is a story-driven metroidvania platformer with elements of RPG, Hack'n'Slash and tons of humor. If you'd like a platformer with a fun storyline where you can talk to characters, solve side quests, find and buy items, and customize weapons and gear, all with beautifully hand-drawn backgrounds presented in a very comedic way, then Clunky Hero might be your dream game! In a village far, far away, a dull peasant named Rufus lived an ordinary life. His wife, Brunilda, was the mistress of the household, an unusually intelligent and cheerful woman who certainly couldn't be called "pretty." Life in the village was pleasant and happy, until one day, awakened by some magical error, the Evil One began spreading his minions throughout the town, committing vile acts against the people. The worst of which was the kidnapping of Brunilda. She was snatched from Rufus's clutches and imprisoned in the Evil One's castle. Transformed into a blonde, duck-faced doll, she now spends all her time staring at herself in a small hand mirror. Determined to get her back, Rufus fashioned a helmet out of a bucket and chose a broom as his weapon. Now everyone calls him the Clumsy Hero, but he may be the only hope to defeat the villain no one wants to name. Rufus is now on a journey to save his wife and the entire village!
