Collapsed is a captivating roguelike, side-scrolling platformer set in a post-apocalyptic world. The story revolves around a terrible catastrophe, the cause of which no one has been able to determine. Most of the planet's population perished, and the surviving portion became an anomalous zone. This zone began spawning a huge number of monsters, all of whom are quite hostile. You play as a hero who must uncover the mystery of this past catastrophe. The gameplay in this action game is very diverse. You will travel through various locations, destroying monsters. In addition to ordinary mutants, you will encounter various criminal groups that have set up their base in this zone. Before starting the game, you are given a choice of four character classes: Reaper, Ranger, Warrior, and Pestilence. Each has a unique set of melee and ranged weapons, as well as a list of passive skills. All equipment can be upgraded with modifiers, which are scattered in boxes throughout the game or can drop from defeated monsters. There's a vast skill tree, unlocked and upgraded based on your level progress.
