Description: CRISIS CORE âFINAL FANTASY VIIâ REUNION is a remaster, not a full-fledged remake. The original was released exclusively on portable consoles back in the early 2000s. The remastered game debuted on PC over 15 years later. The developers significantly improved the graphics, giving the project a modern look. The visual style has also changed slightly, resembling the more serious and realistic design of FF7 Remake. The creators also worked on the sound quality. The gameplay has changed only slightly. The setting still combines cyberpunk and fantasy. And the plot still focuses on a second-class soldier named Zack Fair. He works for the Shinra Corporation and punishes the enemies of his employers with a massive Buster Sword. His story is told through numerous cutscenes. CRISIS CORE âFINAL FANTASY 7â Reunion is a prequel to the seventh Final Fantasy. The original video game was more aimed at those who had played the original FF7 and expanded its universe. In the re-release, the developers reworked the storyline to make it accessible to both fans and newcomers. While the original Final Fantasy XV was a classic JRPG, its spin-off became an action RPG. The narrative is divided into chapters, which are further subdivided into missions. There are main and side missions. These must be completed to level up the fighter and obtain more powerful equipment. Secondary missions must be manually selected and activated at checkpoints. After completing these missions, the protagonist is transported to one of the corridor locations. Movement through these locations takes place in real time. Combat is also real-time. The protagonist can run in different directions, swing a blade, block or dodge enemy attacks, and use materia (essentially magic spells). Hits trigger a DNW meter in the corner of the screen. It resembles a slot machine. When special combinations are achieved, various super moves are activated. Their range increases as you progress.
