Description : Curse of the Sea Rats is a "rat-vania": an adventure platformer, animated by hand! Its main characters are four British prisoners who were transformed into rats by the pirate witch Flora Byrne. They want to regain their human bodies, but to do so, they must battle dangerous bosses, uncover the secrets of the Irish coast, and ultimately, catch the witch who cursed them.
Game Features :

Wonderful hand-drawn 2D animation brings the game's characters to life. The artists drew inspiration from classic cartoons and games from the golden age of 2D platformers. The animation blends seamlessly into the meticulously crafted 3D environment, while lighting and shadows create a sense of pseudo-three-dimensionality, creating a truly stunning experience.

Forge your own path through the game's vast, nonlinear world as you hunt down the pirate witch who cursed you. Shipwrecked on the coast of 18th-century Ireland, you'll need more than just a pirate's cutlass to escape.

Four playable characters are at your disposal: David Douglas, Buffalo Cough, Bussa, and Akane Yamakawa. Each has their own unique fighting style, allowing you to overcome enemies and obstacles! Play solo or join up to three friends in local co-op.

Each character has their own strengths and weaknesses. As you progress through the game, you can upgrade their abilities: unlock new special skills, increase their defense and attack, and learn powerful magic spells!

The game will take over 12 hours to complete, as it's a maze of paths and rooms filled with new discoveries. Will you be able to master each character's playstyle, discover all the secrets, and unlock all the available endings?
