Description: Roguelite? Metroidvania? All of them! Did you grow up on roguelikes? Have you witnessed the rise of simpler roguelites and their even more simplified versions? Well, then we're excited to introduce a game in the new genre, RogueVania, which combines features of roguelites (Rogue Legacy, Binding of Isaac, Enter the Gugneon, Spelunky, etc.) with good old Metroidvanias like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Levels connected into one large world, and the gradual discovery of new parts, provide a wonderful incentive to explore the game from top to bottom. Add to this character development and constant weapon upgrades, and you'll understand how much Dead Cells has inherited from its many Metroid and Castlevania-inspired predecessors. But the most important thing in the game is your personal mastery! The essence of the roguelite genre is that the player constantly improves, and over time, previously insurmountable obstacles become mere trifles. Battles with no margin for error, coupled with the lack of opportunity for insurance, result in a game full of excitement and adrenaline that makes you want to play again and again. The Bad Seed expansion. Wander through the Arboretum, overcome the deadly Swamp, and fight a new boss in a fresh early-game expansion. We're further expanding the Dead Cells universe to provide more variety for our supporters. Two new levels and their monsters offer alternatives to the Trail of the Damned / Toxic Sewers and Prison Towers / Crematorium / Ancient Sewers. The boss is roughly the same difficulty as the Gatekeeper. We hope this will add variety to the early stages for those who have mastered the main game. Fatal Falls expansion. Try not to fall as you navigate the island's sheer cliffs. Explore floating shrines, infiltrate the lair of a criminal secret society, and discover the weaknesses of a new boss. This new expansion is for those bored with the Stilt Village, the Clock Tower, the Keeper of Time, and parallel realms. Join forces with a powerful new ally whose strength lies in brutality. This bloodthirsty lady is madly in love with you, so be gentle with her. Or not... Either way, you can't do without her help. Two new levels and a boss fight await you, as well as four and a half new enemies, an impressive arsenal of weapons, and, of course, hidden tidbits of island history. In addition to new areas, enemies, and a sword... yes, let it be a sword, a pet sword, yeah... you'll certainly need new weapons. What would an expansion be without it, right? We've added a ton of new weapons to the game, and some will challenge your witsâ€”you can't always fight with frying pans. But once you figure them out, nothing will stop you. The Queen and the Sea expansion. Fight your way through the wreckage of a sunken ship, climb to the top of a burning lighthouse, and confront the most dangerous enemy yet. Can you do it? Then you'll have a chance to escape this cursed island...This add-on adds new content for the endgame and includes alternatives to the Royal Castle, Abandoned Distillery, and Throne Room.
