Description : Communication with the Ishimura space mining platform was suddenly lost. It wasn't exactly routine, but it wasn't exactly a full-blown emergency either. Engineer Isaac Clarke was dispatched to the station to search for damage and then repair the systems. However, the technician didn't find a single person in the corridors and compartments, although the crew hadn't disappeared—they'd merely changed... Along with another batch of ore, the Ishimura devoured an alien lifeform, which began to thrive in the comfortable greenhouse conditions of the starship. The crew became raw material, from which an alien intelligence fashioned its own soldiers. Now a deadly wind blows through the echoing galleries of the ship, and something rustles and scrapes behind the bulkheads. The darkened station plays with the unexpected guest like a cat with a mouse, but Isaac has no intention of becoming someone's dinner...
    Features of the game :
  • Chilling terror. The deceptive emptiness and pitch-black corridors envelop the victim in a clammy fear. The sounds, distorted by the ship's metallic interior, scrape like a violin bow across taut nerves. Far from civilization, alone with an unknown threat, you will be soaked in terror like a sponge soaked in water.
  • Amputation. Dead Space differs from other games in the genre, where aliens die en masse under heavy fire. Isaac is a simple engineer who doesn't carry the arsenal of a typical army. However, he does have tools: a saw, a cutter, and other useful tools indispensable in close combat. To destroy a monster, you need to damage or cut off a vital organ, which is located in different places on different species.
  • Upgrades. Every tool can be upgraded, transforming it from a simple engineering device into a fully-fledged weapon.
  • Weightlessness. Not all of the platform's equipment is functioning properly, so gravity can be intermittent. Once in zero gravity, you can turn on magnetic boots to walk on the ceiling and walls. However, sometimes it's much safer to simply float in the void.
  • An alien reality. Thanks to realistic physics, Dead Space makes you believe in monstrous events. When the entire surrounding world looks and reacts to interactions as if it were real, it's easy to forget you're in a game.
