Description : Beware of the waters, they are fraught with a mysterious and terrifying threat. Death, the ancient Kraken-like leviathan, stalks your every move in this tense underwater survival horror game. Fight for survival using powerful weapons and upgrades while exploring a beautiful yet treacherous underwater world. Death in the Water 2 is a wave-based shooter at its core, but it combines elements of horror and tension with thrilling, adrenaline-fueled action. Each dive (wave) typically begins with exploration elements, where the pace is a bit slower, giving you the opportunity to find treasure and other collectibles and get your bearings. During this phase, the tension builds as you explore ruins, sunken ships, and reefs. Sharks and creatures are passive and won't always attack you unless provoked, just like real sharks. At any point during the dive, Death (the Kraken) unleashes a mind-control attack on all creatures, beginning a feeding frenzy, with you as the primary target. You'll need to survive and complete the dive's objective before moving on to the next wave. As you progress to the next dive, the difficulty increases, and things get even more frantic. The combination of tension and action makes it incredibly exciting as you explore the open-world map.
Game Features :

Death in the Water features a large, open underwater map that you can discover during your dives. Explore shipwrecks, reefs, caves, ruins, and terrifying open waters that will test your thalassophobia. Find hidden treasures and other secrets that will help you battle the Kraken.

Death in the Water 2 features a vast roster of incredibly realistic procedurally animated creatures, both real and fantastical. Enemies will move through the world, reacting realistically to their environment, tracking you using sight, sound, or smell to locate you.

Your arsenal will include access to weapons and equipment that you can unlock and upgrade. These include Chum grenades, powerful sniper rifles, and shotguns.

We're two friends, Neil (an artist) and Edward (a programmer), and we started making games as a hobby back in school. Thirteen years ago, we quit our full-time jobs and founded Lighthouse Games Studio, where we've released several best-selling games, including Shark Attack Deathmatch, Comedy Night, Avatar Deathmatch, and many others.
