Description : DevilutionX is actually a new game engine for the Diablo game, which uses files with source data and provides full compatibility with modern PCs and operating systems. It also allows you to run the game on many platforms and play in widescreen resolution. The project introduces graphical improvements using image scaling techniques, adds controller support, and offers the ability to play in multiplayer mode over TCP / IP or UDP / IP.
Features of the release : - A port of DevilutionX has been installed, allowing you to run the game on modern OS in high resolution - Game mpq archives have been repacked with high compression - The choice of installing the Hellfire add-on is optional, since this add-on is not considered canon to the Diablo game - Tristram's musical theme has been replaced with a full version lasting 7:40 (the original is about 3 minutes shorter) in better quality (mp3 128 kbps 44 kHz versus wav 22 kHz). The musical theme was found on the Internet, and is not extracted from the game. - Choice of Stream/Fargus voiceover. The Russian text in the game corresponds to the voiceover from Stream. In Fargus's voiceover, a couple of the innkeeper's lines were restored, and the Tavown00 and Tavown33 files were taken from Stream's voiceover. Both voiceovers are missing the Hellfire files naratr1-2 and COWSUT9-12.
