Journey through Sanctuary, ravaged by the hordes of the Burning Hells, with modern 3D graphics, updated audio, and remastered cutscenes. The Reign of the Warlock expansion for Diablo II: Resurrected introduces the new Warlock class, reimagined endgame content, unique mechanics, and updated gameplay. Diablo 2 Resurrected is a remastered version of Diablo 2 for modern platforms, built using a state-of-the-art graphics engine. Resurrected offers players content from both the original game and the Lord of Destruction expansion, updated graphics and animations, the ability to switch between the modern and classic game modes, and cross-play and progress transfer across all platforms. The second installment of the series takes place several years after the events of the original game. A reborn Diablo, as the Dark Wanderer, has stalked the lands of Sanctuary, wreaking havoc and destruction. Players, choosing one of seven different character classes, set out to hunt the demon and stop him and his brothers, Mephisto and Baal. During their adventures, players will explore a variety of locations, including high mountain plains, deserts, and abandoned ancient citadels.
