Gather a team of up to 7 companions, including a detective, an assassin, and a necromancer. Each character has their own rich and nuanced backstory, and you can befriend and even romance them. Each brings their own unique skills and abilities to the battlefield. You won't be aloneâ€”decide who to bring into battle to battle demons, dragons, and corrupted gods.

Recruit unique companions. Your squad will feature a diverse cast of characters with dark and surprising pasts, their own problems and desires, and rare skills that will help you survive. Fighting alongside you will be Scout Harding, Detective Nev, Necromancer Emmrik, Dragon Hunting Expert Taash, Grey Warden Davrin, Veilwalker Bellara, and Mage Slayer Lucanis.

Compelling companion stories. Develop relationships with your companions and learn more about them as you adventure across Thedas. Your decisions shape the outcome of these stories, and completing them can unlock powerful new abilities. A new hero, Rook, will be joining the world of Dragon Age. You'll be able to choose your character's race, combat class, and backstory, as well as customize their appearance. The choice is yours.
