Description : Easy Red 2 is a game for those who know what they want from a World War II game: Simulation of weapons and movements, historical accuracy in battles. Huge maps with numerous deployed units, vehicles dominating the battlefield, and a realistic approach to combat. In this new version of Easy Red, we've rewritten everything from scratch to achieve high-quality gameplay mechanics and optimized it for a new, stunning design that runs even on low-end machines. We're taking you to Italy, from the shores of Anzio to the bombed-out peaks of Monte Cassino, to Japan in the middle of the Battle of Kwajalein, and during the German glider invasion of the Greek island of Kos. As you can see from the changelogs, Easy Red 2 has received more than one update per week throughout 2021. We want to continue this spirit and frequently add new features, such as weapons, uniforms, vehicles, factions, game modes, and more. New features typically emerge from suggestions users can leave on the Discord server.
Game Features :

Simulation and immersion. That's what we want from Easy Red 2. We strive to give the player a sense of the emotions soldiers experience in the chaos and adrenaline of the battlefield. Explosions, destruction, orders, and gunfire will be all around the player, who will be rewarded not for their kill count, but for their strategic and survival skills.

Major battles and historical locations. The entire campaign will take place on large open-world maps that recreate real battlefields, and battle plans are faithful to historical events.

Squad-based gameplay. No one can fight alone; good tactics require good teamwork. So be a squad leader, a medic, or maybe a radio operator: you'll always have a job to do within your squad.

We particularly focused on creating sub-objectives that are distinct from the main mission objectives. While a team's primary objective might be to capture a specific area, a sub-objective might be assigned following a radio request from a tank to clear a path around an anti-tank gun that has been spotted. This radically improved gameplay, making it more realistic and dynamic.

Vehicles. Combat vehicles have forever changed warfare, and World War II clearly demonstrated this, so get ready to jump into a Panzer 4, Sherman, M3 Lee, or any other tank that dominated real-life battles in the game.

We decided to give the player full control over the vehicle crew; they will be able to drive and fire tanks as long as there are crew members in the seats, using each weapon. Also, combat doesn't stop when a tank is disabled. Many tank crews during World War II managed to escape from disabled tanks and survive the battles, and the same will be true in Easy Red 2: if you lose your tank in battle, you'll need to safely return your crew to their positions.

Multiplayer: Play online PvP and PvE missions from within the game or the mission editor. Play with your squad or join a squad of friends. Create a match at any time and on any map.

Map and Mission Editor. The map editor lets you create your own maps, using a brush to raise or lower terrain, paint textures, and add grass and props.

The Mission Editor allows anyone to create new missions for the game using in-game maps or maps created with the Map Editor. Both maps and missions can be shared and downloaded from the Steam Workshop.

Devastation. Explosions will destroy sandbags, walls, fences, vehicles, and defenses, and the battlefield can change radically throughout the battle.

Enemy fire will also constantly suppress you and your squad. Learn how to move safely in real combat and keep your helmet on.

Optimization. We want a smooth war simulation, so we've developed our own graphic style to deliver excellent animation, textures, and effects while maintaining a high and stable frame rate. This means many more units and vehicles will appear onscreen, contributing to a more immersive combat experience.
