Description : Empires and Tribes is a unique blend of medieval city-building simulator and role-playing game. You will assume the responsibilities of a 13th-century burgomaster and expand your city, establish production, develop innovative technologies, negotiate new laws with the city council, and assemble a powerful army to defend against enemy principalities. Empires and Tribes combines classic real-time strategy principles with the possibilities of a first-person role-playing game. In addition to city planning and economic decisions, you will face political struggles for power within the city council, a timid priest, citizen strikes, bandits, mendicant monks, thieves, and four hostile principalities in the immediate vicinity. Demonstrate your leadership, economic, and diplomatic skills to maintain your place in the complex world of Empires and Tribes. Wisely plan and expand your settlement, and under your skillful leadership, it will grow from a tiny fishing village into a thriving trading center. Extract natural resources, create residential districts, build chapels, taverns, and other public buildings to meet the growing needs of your residents. Defend your settlement: build castles in strategic locations and complement them with towers, gates, courtyards, and other outbuildings. Gather troops and craft siege weapons to prevail in tactically challenging sieges and finally bring your enemies to their knees.
