A mysterious being known as the Overseer holds you and your companions captive, forcing you to participate in a "Campaign," for which he constantly creates new Schedules. This is a system of challenges set in a ruined research facilityâ€”the Complex. Proceed deeper through levels inhabited by terrifying monsters. Collect tools and resources to help you survive and progress. Complete all the challenges to complete the Schedule and complete the Campaign. Be careful: GTFO is not your average tunnel shooter; it's a game for those willing to play high stakes. Four-player co-op. GTFO sessions are designed for up to four players, requiring maximum teamwork. If you're short one or two players, AI characters will take their place. They will follow you, hide when you do, gather resources, and provide fire support. But you shouldn't expect any miracles from these "bots," so if you want to play to the fullest, look for real partners.
