Set in a fictional old Maine mining town, you play as Sally, a little girl from Bethelwood. Her life is difficult, and after the disappearance of her cousin Emily, it gets even worse. Fleeing from a group of bullies, Sally finds herself in a twisted version of Bethelwood, where her fears and worst memories are brought to life in the strangest ways.
