After the events of Homeworld 2, the galaxy enjoyed an era of abundance thanks to the hyperspace gate system, with periods of strife and peace alternating. But the gate began to experience catastrophic malfunctions, and Karan, who had become a myth and a religious icon, became the key to unraveling a mystery that threatens the entire galaxy.
Game Features:
  • You are free to make any tactical decisions. Homeworld's classic space combat mechanics are complemented by gigantic derelict ships, which become 3D battle arenas. Use these ruins of an ancient civilization to set up cunning ambushes or hide from overpowered opponents. Send your fighters behind enemy lines, where they will be met by turret-guarded fortress trenches. But not everything in the game depends on you—harsh space phenomena like proton storms and asteroid fields will pose serious challenges even for experienced commanders.
  • Take on your enemies head-on, outflank them, or even attack them from above and below. Pay particular attention to cover and the line of fire, as Homeworld 3 features a full ballistics simulation. Each new mission will leave its mark on your fleet's ships, and its pilots and captains will exchange vital tactical information.
