Hungry Dino can be classified as an arcade or casual game. The title is free of gore, blood, and violence, making it suitable for gamers of all ages. This indie title features 3D cartoon graphics and a top-down camera. In Hungry Dino, the player controls the dinosaur using a keyboard or mouse. Gamepads are also partially supported. The game features many themed stages. The gameplay is reminiscent of the Pac-Man series. The goal is to collect all the treats on the map and try to score higher than your opponents. While doing so, you must escape from enemies and bosses. Some can be defeated by equipping special upgrades. There are 16 enemy types. If the player runs out of lives, their dinosaur transforms into a predator. In this form, it can hunt other players. There is a single-player mode with a choice of difficulty levels and a multiplayer mode for up to 8 players. Two-player co-op is also available on the same computer. The game is also available online. There's also a leaderboard. Tutorials are also available.
