Description:Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days is a side-scrolling survival game about shelters. You must lead a group of survivors amidst a zombie apocalypse and lead them to safety. Craft weapons, gather resources, balance your group's needs, and ensure everyone survives and escapes! Texas, 1980. The seaside town of Walton was recently a sprawling metropolis suffering from the heat of an economic crisis. Everything changed when a wave of zombie outbreaks reached the shores of the United States. Hordes of the undead quickly overwhelm Walton, and the few remaining survivors are cut off from outside help. A group of ordinary people is forced to stick together to escape the city. ACT WISELY. Gather a group of ordinary people shaken by the monstrous zombie apocalypse in their hometown. Build upgradable shelters to house survivors and protect them from zombies, but remember: sooner or later, zombies will break through any barrier. Move from shelter to shelter to stay one step ahead of the advancing hordes of the undead. Every night, the barricades shake under the onslaught of terrifying zombies. If they manage to break through, the survivors will face brutal reprisals. Monitor the group's conditionâ€”physically, to prevent them from dying of hunger or exhaustion, and mentally, to keep them hopeful. Help survivors cope with any injuriesâ€”broken ribs or nightmares. ADAPT TO CIRCUMSTANCES. Scour the ruins of Walton for precious resources, risking the lives of your comrades, who may perish in a skirmish with zombies or other survivors. The key to survival is a silent kill. Will you choose: sneak away or grab any available weapon and engage in brutal zombie combat? Born fighters are rare, but in dire straits, people will do anything to survive. Invite other survivors to join your group or eliminate them and take their resources. DO ANYTHING TO SURVIVE Your humanity will be tested to the limit: decide who lives, who dies, and who must be abandoned. Explore and develop the diverse and atmospheric urban landscape of Walton, once bustling with life, now filled with ominous ruins and hordes of zombies. Craft tools, weapons, and shelter upgrades to better prepare your survivors for the challenges ahead or simply give them a moment to rest and relax in this hostile new world. Each playthrough feels fresh in this multifaceted world.
