Description : When the Earth is on the brink of ecosystem collapse, DOLOS AEC leads the effort to find a new home for the human race. By chance or fate, the prototype Tikkun space station finds itself cast adrift in space, a crumbling ark where the remnants of humanity must find refuge—and you, the Administrator, stand at its helm. IXION is a city-building simulator that demands vigilance, constant evaluation and re-evaluation, learning and adaptation. If you and your crew want to survive, you must confront the dangers of space, while simultaneously uncovering its secrets and harvesting its resources. Danger, however, will come from both within and without: you will have to build, maintain, and develop Tikkun's infrastructure, while managing the station's population and deciding how best to respond to their requests to maintain trust in you and the mission. There are no easy decisions here; your actions will have consequences—now and in the future. How you cope with these consequences will determine survival or extinction.
Game Features :
  • The people who need to be managed are not part of a disciplined crew; not everyone has been awake since the launch, some have just emerged from cryo-chambers… Maintain trust in the corporation that started this enterprise, or fail and a mutiny will break out on board. The station can be expanded to six sectors, each capable of accommodating more people, creating new jobs, and providing crew monitoring capabilities via data interception. Will you bring hope to the people?
  • Who said you're the only ones to escape Earth's fate? Battle other groups of survivors, avoid misfortunes and the wreckage of other ships... In IXION, players will experience exciting story chapters that present new threats and opportunities, all of which will help them reach their final destination: a new home.
  • DOLOS is renowned for its innovative technology and scientists, but Tiqqun is currently cut off from the rest of the world. Find what resources you can exploit, research what you don't have. Find new ways to build your settlement, construct the new buildings you need. Modify Tiqqun Station, improve it, and advance in this odyssey.
  • Space is a dangerous place. Hull breaches, power supply overloads, electrical fires... You must manage these risks, cope with emergencies, develop backup power technologies, and make decisions about spacewalks...
  • There are entirely new star maps to explore. Send out probes to uncover hidden treasures, build mining and cargo ships to find resources and trade, and commission scientific expeditions to uncover the secrets and threats you discover in space. Meet other survivors and use them in your mission; remember, your goal is to survive.
