While the core gameplay remains unchanged in the sequel, it remains a standalone project, developed from the ground up, that addresses the challenges of modern and future space exploration. Develop your space program, build epic ships, navigate between alluring celestial bodies, and uncover the secrets of the world beyond the orbit of your home planet.
Game Features :
  • Next-generation technology. With each update, players will gain access to unique tools and technologies, including new engines, parts, fuel, and much more for exciting challenges. This will allow them not only to solve assigned tasks but also to explore space beyond the Kerbol system.
  • Colonies. A completely new feature in Kerbal Space Program 2 will be colonies, and their creation will come with a number of challenges. Players will need to obtain unique types of fuel, as well as resources for constructing buildings, space stations, and habitats. Over time, colonies will develop to the point where they can build spacecraft for deep space exploration.
  • Interstellar Travel. Next-generation technology, colonies, and resource harvesting take Kerbal space exploration to a whole new level—explorers can now embark on interstellar travel. This allows access to new planets, each of which presents new challenges and treasures. Among them: Charr, a world of molten iron; Ovin, a ringed super-Earth with intense gravity; Resk and Rusk, a stunning double planet; and many other worlds.
  • Multiplayer and mods. Kerbal Space Program 2's technological capabilities include beloved mods and finally allow for multiplayer play. Very soon, players will be able to explore deep space together. We'll share more details about these features in the near future.
