KeyWe is a two-player game. It's a 3D, co-op puzzle platformer played from a third-person perspective. It can be played with two players on a single computer or online. A single-player mode is also available, allowing players to control two characters simultaneously. The story follows the daily work of feathered postmen. In KeyWe, players control kiwi birds. These tiny creatures are named Deborah and Jeff. They have only paws, and they use them to perform numerous tasks, such as sending parcels and letters, typing telegrams, sorting mail, and so on. These New Zealand birds use their body parts to activate buttons and other switches. They can primarily run and jump, and they must interact with equipment that is gigantic in comparison. Gameplay requires teamwork between partners. The gameplay is based on solving puzzles, with only a few types of riddles. But they gradually become more complex and change with the addition of modifiers. The hero and heroine can be customized. Tiny headdresses for them are unlocked as you progress. The local story spans three seasons: summer, fall, and winter. The seasons and weather conditions influence the gameplay.
