A true zombie apocalypse, Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2) is the highly acclaimed sequel to the award-winning Left 4 Dead, the best co-op game of 2008. In this co-op first-person horror shooter, you and your friends will journey through five expansive campaigns across the cities, swamps, and cemeteries of the southern United States, from Savannah to New Orleans. You'll play as one of four new survivors, wielding a variety of bone-crushing weapons to combat enemies, including updated versions of the first game's weapons. You'll also be able to unleash your aggression on the infected with terrifying melee weapons like the chainsaw, axe, and deadly frying pan. You'll have to use all of these weapons against (or be used against) three terrifyingly terrifying new special infected. You'll also encounter five unique regular zombies, including the terrifying Mudman. The updated Director takes the first game's addictive gameplay to a new level. It can now alter the weather, paths, enemy numbers, effects, sounds, and other settings to suit your skill level. L4D2 will challenge you in new ways every time, adapting its approach to you and your playstyle.
