Description: On the distant planet E.D.N.III, where eternal winter reigns, life and death go hand in hand. The planet's original inhabitants, the insect-like Akrid, pose a huge threat to the few colonists—and yet, for those who brave the icy wastes, they offer the only hope for survival. Only the Akrid can provide the warmth so desperately needed by humans—if, of course, they have the courage to confront these bloodthirsty predators. Armed with weapons, players will navigate twelve story missions, discovering a new source of thermal energy and transforming a godforsaken place into a new home for humanity. New challenges await the brave conquerors of Lost Planet: for fans of online combat, the game offers a vast selection of multiplayer modes, characters, and maps, including those created exclusively for Lost Planet Colonies. Fighting against each other, players will form squads, steal loot from their opponents, or defend their team's Combat Vehicle (CM). Additionally, for the first time, users will be allowed to side with the Akrids and experience firsthand the sheer force of the E.D.N.III's ferocious masters.
