DescriptionLumencraft is a top-down roguelike shooter with elements of base building and tower defense. Build your base in procedurally generated, fully destructible levels, dig tunnels, and search for the precious lumenâ€”humanity's last chance for survival. For two centuries, the remnants of humanity have struggled to survive without electricity or light. But all is not lost. In 2221, survivors discovered lumenâ€”a type of crystal with vast energy reserves that could be humanity's lifeline. Brave miners, dubbed scouts, founded an underground settlement from which they set out through the darkness in search of lumen deposits. In the shadows of underground caves and tunnels, not only salvation for humanity awaits, but also mortal danger. It's your turn to descend into the bottomless darkness... Swarms of enemies lurk within the dark dungeons, eager to destroy your base. Light up dark tunnels with flashes of gunfire and turrets as you fight for survival. Drill new passages and shafts to reach valuable resources, or blow up walls and enemies alike. The 2Dynamic Games team has painstakingly transformed the open-source Godot engine into a completely new tool using specialized algorithms. Now, every particle of the environment (what we called pixels) can be destroyed, and creating maps is as easy as using a drawing program. Lumencraft offers several game modes, from which you'll find the perfect one for you. You can play through a 27-mission campaign that tells the story of humanity's struggle for survival. You can also use procedural map generation and play rogue-like. You can also create your own level in the editor or explore maps created by other users from the Steam Workshop. Custom game modes (such as tower defense, skirmish, survival, or a combination of these) with customizable starting technologies, upgrades, and objectives will allow you to test your mettle under any conditions. Play with friends on the same computer or dive into the depths together using Steam Remote Play.
