Description:

The Cold War crisis that started it all. At the height of the Cold War, Naked Snake—the man who would later become known as Big Boss—infiltrates the Soviet Union to extract a defector scientist named Sokolov. However, his mission fails: Snake's mentor, The Boss, a female soldier credited with creating the Special Forces, betrays him, and Sokolov ends up captured by Colonel Volgin of the GRU. A week later, Snake is sent back to Soviet soil to rescue Sokolov and eliminate The Boss – an operation that will mark the beginning of a new legend, written into the inexorable course of history.
