Choose the most dramatic (or scandalous) camera angles, mute swear words, and choose commercials that will delight your sponsors. Simple, right? It's the news, after all, who watches it? Not For Broadcast is a dark, satirical game about chaos on live television. You decide what appears on TV, ignoring everyone else's opinion. Selfish "celebrities," crooked politicians, and shady sponsors clash on air. Your job is to keep the show running. Switch between different cameras, change headlines, and mute swear words seconds before it all goes on air! Follow the party's lead or stir up trouble—any means necessary to keep the attention of fickle viewers.
Game Features :
  • Bring spectacle and debate to life—entertain viewers with your editing skills. You're the artist, and the airwaves are your canvas.
  • Watch the format—press the big red "CENSORSHIP" button to silence profanity... or "unconfirmed" information. News should be appropriate for both children and repressive political regimes.
  • Control the news cycle – you can't fit everything into one broadcast, so someone (you) decides which stories will air. Should you talk about a famous footballer's new mistress or his passion for alcohol? It's up to you, and that's just one of many dilemmas. It's just TV, right? You're not going to change the fate of an entire country...
  • Place ads—you command the airtime, but you could be paid more. Some of the chosen sponsors, despite their dubious reputations, will help you fill your bank account and entertain your viewers at the same time. Customer satisfaction is not guaranteed, and payments are non-refundable.
  • The show must go on! Nothing, not even the end of the world, will stop the Evening News from airing! Keep broadcasting, no matter how crazy the situation. Nothing can stop the news, not even a Category 5 hurricane!
  • Let your audience laugh—the news isn't all about positivity and celebrity scandals. Word of war is getting louder, and politics keeps intruding into your work. But don't worry, keep smiling!
