Build, redesign, and refine your station to perfection in a fully 3D environment, powered by the impressive capabilities of Unreal Engine 4. Rotate your creation 360 degrees, zoom in and out. Admire mesmerizing constellations, nebulae, and planets—weeks of research by the developers allowed for a realistic visualization of the endless sky. Configure and control production cycles, resource extraction, and resource distribution. Focus on efficiency or production volume, using all available metrics. An abstract projection, reminiscent of electronic circuitry, is at your disposal, helping you establish connections between modules and gradually transform your station into an engineering marvel! A unique economic model presents you with the ultimate challenge: make your station efficient and profitable, or fail! A variety of events can disrupt your normal flow of activity, from hacker attacks to errors and glitches that can occur in any of the station's modules. Furthermore, excess production can lead to overload—so plan, design, and execute carefully! You can play in campaign mode, which consists of three different missions that task you with terraforming a planet, making it habitable and suitable for resource extraction. Each mission has its own storyline and will require you to focus on two game modes to achieve your station's objectives. Will you focus on maximum efficiency or production volume? Or will you want to build a station with the most elegant modules? Either way is fine, as long as the mission is accomplished! But nothing stops you from simply creating the best station possible. Make it the most beautiful or the most efficient. To achieve this, we've provided two special game modes—Endless and Creative. orbit.industries combines inspiration from classic science fiction books, films, and space opera series with current knowledge and advancements in space exploration, engineering, and orbital station design.
