The central character of GRAVEN was sentenced to lifelong exile for his crime in the name of salvation. He served the Orthogonal Order, and after his exile, he found himself on a small boat in a swamp. A stranger helps him ashore and gives him a book containing a mysterious staff. The hero must embark on a journey as a pious priest. The player takes control of this priest to help people free themselves from suffering and expose deceivers. Along the way, they will encounter deadly traps and nightmarish creatures bent on destroying the universe. The gameplay combines puzzle elements with first-person action. The action unfolds in a world at the intersection of modern technology and visuals reminiscent of the 1990s. As the player progresses, they uncover the reasons behind the heretical sects' crimes and the numerous plagues they unleash upon the world.
