Description : Capcom celebrates the 20th anniversary of the classic Resident Evil 3: Nemesis with a completely remastered remake of Resident Evil 3. Following the award-winning Resident Evil 2, this latest installment in the award-winning series, which has sold over 94 million copies, once again utilizes Capcom's proprietary RE Engine. Jill Valentine, one of video games' most beloved heroines, must escape the deadly trap of Raccoon City and escape the ruthless pursuer known as Nemesis. Players will also be able to take part in a series of previously undisclosed Umbrella Corporation experiments around Raccoon City in the asymmetrical multiplayer game Resident Evil Resistance (formerly known as Project Resistance), included with Resident Evil 3. Set during the outbreak of the T-virus, a biological weapon developed by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella, the game also features the debut of one of the most memorable characters in the Resident Evil series: Nemesis, a colossal humanoid monster engineered to be both brutal and intelligent. Armed with an arsenal of powerful weapons, the terrifying Nemesis will crush any obstacle in its path! Jill's desperate escape takes place shortly before and shortly after the events of Resident Evil 2. Intense battles are interspersed with puzzle-solving as the story of Raccoon City comes to a dramatic conclusion. The original game's terrifying atmosphere and new solutions powered by the RE Engine, previously used to create the critically acclaimed hits Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, Resident Evil 2, and Devil May Cry 5, are realized with high-resolution graphics and updated gameplay mechanics. Resident Evil 2's gripping single-player campaign is complemented by the asymmetrical multiplayer game Resident Evil Resistance for up to five players, originally unveiled at Tokyo Game Show earlier this year under the working title Project Resistance. As a sophisticated puppeteer, players can take on a series of deadly experiments as characters such as Annette Birkin. They will use a strategic deck of cards to create dangerous obstacles designed to stop the survivors from escaping. These include summoning bloodthirsty monsters, setting traps, manipulating environmental objects, and manipulating weapon-equipped security cameras. Additionally, players who choose to act as the Puppeteer will be able to directly control zombies, includingâ€”for the first time in the seriesâ€”the deadly Tyrant and William Birkin, transformed by the G-virus.
