In Resident Evil 4, Special Agent Leon S. Kennedy is tasked with rescuing the kidnapped daughter of the US President. His investigation leads him to a remote European village inhabited by aggressive fanatics of the mysterious Los Illuminados cult, the mastermind behind the kidnapping. Leon will face monstrous mutants and hostile villagers, their minds enslaved by the parasitic Las Plagas. These enemies are quite different from the hulking zombies from previous games in the series. The Resident Evil 4 HD Project is a mod that fully restores the visuals using original real-world sources, fixes texture mapping and 3D modeling issues, and transforms flat objects into true 3D models. Along with the aforementioned graphical improvements, it will also feature full HD video, the original depth-of-field blur effect from the GC/Wii versions, and a FOV so you can adjust the camera perspective. The game will also now display proper on-screen keyboard and mouse prompts.
