Description : The action takes place in the future. You play as a trainee who receives an investigator's license. You are given a choice of several recreated cases, quite difficult and baffling. Your goal is to unravel them and pass the exam. Only your keen perception, insight, and mental clarity will help you do this. Will you be able to solve all the cases? "Crime Scene Investigation" is a game where deduction is everything. Carefully examine your surroundings, fill in the gaps in the overall picture, and look for motives, even if they don't seem to exist at first. Make assumptions to keep yourself moving during the investigation. The game is designed for fans of detective films, as well as true crime and escape room genres, and anyone who enjoys a challenging puzzle! A note for fans of "Painscreek Murders"... In terms of gameplay, "Crime Scene Investigation" is very different from our first game, "Painscreek Murders." It focuses entirely on the story and uses a fairly simple "breadcrumb" gameplay system, allowing players to continue the investigation whenever they catch a clue. This game relies heavily on attentiveness and observation, filling in missing gaps in the case, searching for motives (even if none initially appear), and developing possible theories to solve the case. Simply put, "Painscreek Murders" is a story-driven game, while "Crime Scene" is a game of deduction.
Game Features :
  • "True Crime" is a detective experience.
  • You must observe every scene carefully and analyze everything on the spot. There are no clues or hints here. Take notes of everything that stands out and jot down your suspicions as you move through the crime scene.
  • Murder mysteries that risk remaining unsolved.
  • Piece together the whole picture, not only to understand what happened, but also to establish the connection between the victims and their killers. Only your wisdom, keen sense of smell, and intelligence can help you.
  • Calculation assumptions - 70/30 principle.
  • You may discover that some evidence is missing, preventing you from drawing a final conclusion. This means the case may only be 70% complete, with the remaining 30% missing. It's at these moments that you must fill in the gaps yourself, trusting your instincts and making reasonable assumptions.
  • Storytelling through the environment.
  • Noticed the pink lipstick on the wine glass? What about the bullet trajectory on the wall? Or the faint footprints of size 14 boots on the windowsill? These are just some of the clues around you that can help piece together the story.
  • Solve riddles with your friends or partner.
  • Solving mysteries is more fun when you have someone to discuss them with. Come to your conclusions with a friend, your significant other, or the whole family!
