The comic roguelike Ship of Fools transports you to a fantasy world inhabited by strange creatures with a decidedly low level of intelligence. They also have a surprising knack for getting into all sorts of trouble and bizarre situations, from which they comically try to find a way out. This latest such situation is quite global and tragic. In a fictional country called the Archipelago, an Aquapocalypse is approaching, threatening to submerge all the islands. The protagonists of Ship of Fools—a crew of sea-faring idiots with their own pirate ship—are tasked with stopping it. The story campaign is recommended to be played in co-op with one other player, but solo play is also possible. However, doing so will limit the gamer's enjoyment of the adventure. As they journey through this fantasy world, the protagonists will encounter sea monsters like the Kraken, other pirates, the undead, and many other creatures seeking to interrupt their journey.
