Streets of Rogue is a lightweight roguelike about choice, freedom, and unbridled fun. Inspired by fast-paced, top-down roguelikes like Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne, as well as RPGs like Deus Ex, with their freedom to experiment and immerse themselves in the game's universe, the game takes place not in a typical dungeon, but in a vibrant, procedurally generated city, where a sophisticated AI guides characters from all walks of life simply living their lives. To progress, the player must complete various quests in any way they choose, using available skills, items, and the surrounding environment.
