    Description : Subnautica is a role-playing game from the creators of Natural Selection 2, promising to combine cinematic style, an open world, and the depth of a "large" RPG. Subnautica is an open-world sandbox game created by Unknown Worlds Entertainment. The game's main feature is that the action takes place in an alien ocean, where, according to the plot, your spaceship has crashed. Only one person—the player—survives. With only an escape pod, they must forage for everything they need to survive and protect themselves in the vast underwater world.

  • You've crash-landed in a wondrous ocean world where the only path leads down. Subnautica's oceans range from sun-drenched coral reefs to treacherous deep-sea crevices, lava fields, and bioluminescent underwater rivers. Manage your oxygen levels as you explore kelp forests, plateaus, reefs, and winding cave systems. The waters teem with life: some beneficial, many dangerous.
  • After crash-landing in an escape pod, you're in a race against time to find water, food, and craft survival gear. Scavenge resources from the surrounding ocean. Craft knives, diving gear, and personal watercraft. Venture deeper and further in search of rarer resources that will allow you to craft more advanced items.
  • Build bases on the seafloor. Choose the layout and components, and manage their durability as depth and pressure increase. Use your base to store resources, dock vehicles, and replenish oxygen as you explore the vast ocean.
  • What happened to this planet? There are plenty of signs that something is wrong. What caused you to crash? What's infecting the marine life? Who built the mysterious structures scattered across the ocean? Can you find a way to escape the planet alive?
  • The ocean is teeming with life: use the ecosystem to your advantage. Lure and distract dangerous creatures with fresh fish, or simply swim as fast as you can to avoid the gnashing jaws of wandering predators.
  • Build the Autonomous Armored Jet Suit (or "CRAB") and explore extreme depth and heat. Upgrade your suit with drills, torpedo launchers, propulsion cannons, grappling hooks, and more.
  • Beneath the seafloor, cave systems branch out, from dark, cramped passages to vast caverns illuminated by bioluminescent life and scorching lava flows. Explore the world beneath the ocean floor, but monitor oxygen levels and beware of threats lurking in the darkness.
