Description: Terra Nil is a sandbox city-building simulator that uses pixel graphics with a large number of terrain details. The project's unique feature is that players must build a settlement from scratch, avoiding factories and other buildings that could pollute the air, water, and land, ensuring their creation is considered the most environmentally friendly place to live. Starting with a randomly generated terrain, players receive initial capital for constructing their first residential buildings and various industries to provide employment for residents. A key aspect of successful city development is financial well-being, achieved through foreign trade and the opening of various stores where people can deposit their earnings, which will then go into the treasury for future upgrades. The available territories are quite large, allowing for the construction of a city of thousands, where it is necessary to properly arrange infrastructure for the convenience of all residents. The game also features several types of natural resources that must be mined for the further development of the controlled land. The project has no endgame; construction and improvement of living standards can be carried out over an extended period of time. Random events, such as natural disasters, which occur quite frequently, add complexity to this process. They disrupt operations and can halt development, forcing the player to quickly react to their occurrence and seek ways to mitigate damage.
