Description: The Crew takes place in a completely open world: players can travel between New York and Los Angeles. Because of this, the developers decided to scale down the megacities somewhat. Nevertheless, Ubisoft calls The Crew "the biggest game in the company's history." Hundreds of cities and thousands of tracks are available, where players can compete with other racers, both virtual and real. Furthermore, the game's distinguishing feature is its high level of car customization: players can essentially disassemble a car into its individual components and then reassemble it into a true road monster. The game features mechanics similar to Google Maps and a Freeride mode, a transition between missions and challenges. Multiplayer in The Crew is a mix of competitive and cooperative modes, designed for up to eight players.
