The Legacy- is a co-op survival horror game. In 1990, a curse fell upon our hometown. Our grandfather, a local molfar and mage, followed a sinister tradition: once every 66 years, he must sacrifice one of his descendants to the dark forest forces. But he couldn't do it, so he sent me, two brothers, and a sister to the capital to protect us from the curse. He saved our lives, but doomed the city and its surroundings to death and destruction... Years passed, we had grown up and built our own lives, but the memory of Svetlograd tormented our hearts. At one family dinner, we decided to return there and end the darkness forever, liberate the city, and give people a chance to live normally. Each of us has unique skills, strengths, and weaknesses, so we complement each other perfectly. Having gathered some equipment, we set off to meet... Survival - The Legacy features a detailed survival system. Your character will need food and water. The cold autumn climate of the Carpathian Mountains will force you to build a fire to stay warm, move more, or find shelter on a cold night. Your stamina also depends on the character you choose and how full your backpack is. A bottle of energy drink will temporarily alleviate stamina issues. When you run out of food and there's no gas station or other food source nearby, catch and cook carp, or track and kill a wild animal to cook succulent meat over a campfire, in an oven, or in a cauldron. Also, don't forget about mushrooms and apples. Potion-making, magic, and mysticism - Svetlograd is more than just a city, and the surrounding settlements are more than just small villages. Many local legends speak of mysticism, dark and light magic, and mythical entities, so the locals are not ordinary. Therefore, in The Legacy, you will find recipes for magical potions, information about dark entities and how to combat them, and rituals. You will also gather herbs, mushrooms, and other ingredients. You will have the opportunity to understand the local mythology and overcome evil, with weapons and bullets, or with rituals and potions. A large open world, various locations - The game offers a large open world in which you can explore various locations, simultaneously completing objectives and surviving. As you explore the game world, you will find notes from local residents who will tell you various mystical stories about Svetlograd and its surroundings. Also, when you start a new game, all game items (food, weapons, ammunition, book pages, enemies, plants, mushrooms, animals, etc.) appear in random locations, making it possible to play a truly new and unique game each time, with an unpredictable ending. Construction, resource mining, and crafting - With tools, such as an axe or knife, you can mine various resources. But if you don't have any tools, try breaking sticks with your bare hands, but be careful - you can easily cut yourself.Then you'll need bandages. The resources you obtain can be used to craft various items, as well as build your own home, base, or camp. In a team, building a camp or house goes faster when one player gathers resources, a second builds, and a third lights a fire and prepares food. After building the camp, you can start preparing a delicious dinner and replenish your strength before new adventures.
