The protagonist in Trials of Wilderness finds himself on a mysterious island inhabited by wild animals and otherworldly entities. Players control the character from a first-person perspective, attempting to survive on a large tract of land lost in the turbulent waters surrounding the area. The game is a survival simulator where players create a character and immerse themselves in a world of exploration, either solo or in co-op with other players, working together to improve living conditions in this dangerous environment.
By venturing into Trials of Wilderness, players have the opportunity to:
  • Start with nothing, gradually extracting resources and creating tools or weapons.
  • Craft a large number of essential items, as well as construct buildings and defensive structures in the future.
  • Obtain food and water, and look for safe locations to create shelter.
  • Fight wild animals during the hunt to obtain nutritious meat.
  • Engage in cutting down trees and collecting resources such as stone, iron, sulfur, clay, leather, etc.
  • Grow your own plants by immersing yourself in agricultural work.
  • Set traps for animals and other creatures that may pose a threat to the protagonist.
  • Tame and domesticate wild creatures that live in forest biomes.
  • Encounter other residents who may be friendly or aggressive towards the hero.
