Description: War Mongrels takes place during World War II. The developers included in the plot multiple events rarely shown in the gaming industry. Here the user will encounter stories of bravery, generosity, humanity, as well as fierce cruelty and aggression. Contrasting moments are at the core of the gameplay. The campaign includes a single lengthy scenario, telling the story of two central characters. The player takes control of two Wehrmacht soldiers who will go through a long journey in their lives. The fascist threat has drawn the protagonists into an international conflict, they do not realize what they are doing when they are sent to war. Over time, they open their eyes to the horrors of what is happening, and then fight against violence. They become deserters, joining resistance units. As the game progresses, the two characters will recruit more people who share their views. The player controls the entire squad and navigates through deadly environments. Missions vary, requiring stealth, sabotage, and silent assassinations, as well as the use of firearms and melee weapons. Each character's goal is to survive and help innocent people without resorting to violence, or, in extreme cases, by eliminating opponents. Co-op mode allows two players to fight together.
