Description : In 1999, Blizzard Entertainment released a new version of Warcraft II called Warcraft II: Battle.net Edition. Changes included porting the game code to Windows, fixing various bugs, and supporting multiplayer gaming through the Battle.net online service. Battle.net Edition includes Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness and the Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal expansion.
Repack features : - Based on the English license. - Cut out resources from the original installer, commercials. - Game version 2.02. - Low-quality 22 KHz music replaced with high-quality 44 KHz music (taken from the DOS version). - Added maps from the GOG license (Community folder). - Choose from installing Russian voiceovers from Mechanics VoiceOver (48 KHz) or the voiceover designer Slovo Palette Code and GSC Game World (22 KHz) or English voiceover. The text corresponds to the Russian voiceovers of MVO and GSC. - Choose from installing Widescreen / High Resolution Patch to play in high resolution, or Ddraw to play in the original resolution on modern OS. - Tested on Windows 10 x64, the game works fine, without color distortion.
