Description : We Happy Few is the story of a small group of brave and moderately terrible people trying to escape a life in the city of Wellington Wells, built on joyful denial. In this alternate 1960s England, conformity is everything. You must fight or blend in with the drug-addled inhabitants, many of whom are unkind to those who don't conform to their less-than-sane rules. Uncover the dark history of this retrofuturistic city through the intertwining stories of three quiet rebels, residents of Wellington Wells. Each reveals their strengths and weaknesses as they examine their past, prepare for the future, and engage in activities that disrupt the tranquility of their artificially enthusiastic society.

1960s England, dystopia. Set in a retrofuturistic, drug-fueled city of an alternate 1960s England, We Happy Few is a story-driven action game where players hide, fight, and submit to escape the delusional, drug-addled world of Joy.

Three intertwining narratives. Play as three characters, each flawed and exploring their own connections to the events surrounding the rebuilding of Wellington Wells. Each has their own unique storyline, interpreting and reacting to the events around them in their own unique way. As you hide, submit, and resist as each of them, you'll encounter dark humor, a sliver of hope, and even redemption.

Your own dystopia. No two experiences in We Happy Few are the same. While the citizens of Wellington Wells always want you to get your dose of Joy, the normatively created world ensures that each We Happy Few experience is distinct and unique.

Take a dose of Joyâ€¦ or not. The choice is yours. A customizable game. Beyond the pre-defined world, there are countless ways to personalize your experience with We Happy Few: choose a difficulty level designed for beginners or experienced players; play through the game's story or create a custom experimental world to suit your preferences; try out the hard-living mode if you want to satisfy all your masochistic needs; collect recipes, scavenge, and craft dozens of weapons, tools, and devices; crawl, punch, or submit your way through puzzles and encounters; fight barehanded or with crazy weapons of your own making.
