Wild Woods is an indie game for 2-4 players, but can also be played solo. There's a tutorial and two difficulty levels: normal and hard. Before starting a run, you can choose a character skin, and friends can play cooperatively using gamepads. Controls are intuitive: you move with the stick, and three buttons control attacking, rolling, and interacting with objects. Players can pick up and throw items. This is a cooperative action roguelike with a top-down view and a day-and-night cycle. During the day, cats gather resources, chop down trees, break bushes, and load their loot into a cart, which the camera follows. As night falls, they defend the transport from badgers and rabbits and maintain a torch to illuminate the path. Then the cycle repeats. The path periodically encounters forks, where the team votes on the route to take. Occasionally, you'll stumble upon shops where you can use the resources you collect to upgrade the cart. There are also fallen trees that need to be quickly destroyed to prevent the vehicle from crashing into them. In the event of a collision, some of the cargo will fall out. Each animal and cart has health bars.
