Description: Winter Survival is a full-fledged survival game released in early access, with dynamic combat, stealth, base building, a unique sanity system, and these are just a few of the features. Multiple game modes and difficulty levels allow you to experience the game in a new way and adapt it to your tastes. Journey through snowy forests, mountains, and frozen lakes. Battle treacherous terrain, deadly animals, and harsh winter conditions. Find shelter, cook food, and rest, preparing for another day. Hopefully, not the last... You are not the first person to visit this place. Many have come before you. Over a century ago, some even lived here. As you explore the area, you may find items they left behind that will be useful to you too. Explore various locations and learn their history, such as cities built by people long gone. Break down doors, avoid traps, and restore abandoned structures to life. Find personal belongings and delve deeper into the city's past. Can you uncover its secrets?
Game Features:
The most insidious enemy in the desert is the mind. In Winter Survival, you'll plunge into a merciless world where it's difficult to distinguish reality from madness thanks to the unique Sanity system.
In fact, your mind becomes a problem long before hunger. It all starts with symptoms of fatigue, loss of will to continue fighting, and even mirages and full-blown hallucinations. Fear and the stress associated with it add another layer that can affect your perception, and together, all these factors create a very interesting and unique survival experience.
Hunt or be hunted. Use the environment to your advantage. Observe your prey, study their behavior, and build and set traps to catch them. Craft torches to repel wolves. Craft spears to throw at your prey and defend yourself from the apex predators that surround the area.
Given your limited resources, think twice before engaging in combat. A bear is a powerful predator, and engaging it with a knife or even a spear isn't the best idea. Perhaps avoiding danger or sneaking past a potential encounter is a wiser choice, given the circumstances?
Gather resources, learn how to craft all sorts of useful items, and build shelters and other structures to avoid everyday battles. Some resources are easy to find, some are only available in certain areas, others must be obtained through hunting, and some are left behind by those who came before you.
The extensive crafting system ranges from simple fires for cooking to constructing entire shelters and defensive structures anywhere. It's a crafting and building system that will allow you to slowly transition from unbearable danger to a more manageable environmentâif you prepare properly.
