Description : A game about Seiji Maruyama, an aging yakuza who has just been released from prison. Whether he will follow the old paths is up to you to decide (although the choice is not that great). Artyom Belov imbued his pixelated fantasy of Osaka with a timeless nostalgia, so the game may appeal to those unfamiliar with Japanese culture. However, our wonderful character artist, M. Ueda, whose apartment was located near the Osaka headquarters of Japan's largest yakuza gang, confirmed the authenticity of the tiles, so purists can rest assured.
Game features :
  • As for the action gameplay: it's a beat 'em up. As a creator, I love it, but I also loved the action gameplay of my previous game (Arrest of a Stone Buddha), but players mostly hated it. So whether you'll enjoy it personally is a big question.
  • Is it possible to skip it and just go to backstage, spend money on hostesses, or sing karaoke (I haven't added this yet, but I might add it)? It's possible.
  • To get your own office, you will, of course, have to go through a couple of "stages", but on easy it won't be difficult.
  • Overall, the game is pretty good. I tried (as in previous games) to add some artistic flourishes (let's call them that), but it's hard to judge how well they worked this time. Maybe they will work for some. I was pretty blown away a couple of times while playing, but maybe I was just in the mood.
